The Forgotten Space, a film essay by Allan Sekula and Nöel Burch, describes the contemporary maritime world in relation to the complex symbolic legacy of the sea. The film is an expanded version of Sekula’s epic critique of global capitalism, the 1995 book and exhibition Fish Story. Sekula will present The Forgotten Space at 7pm on Monday, Feb. 13th at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
