Berlin photographer Constanze Flamme series, Troubled Water, was shot during two trips she made to Louisiana in 2011 and 2012. It shows both landscape photographs and portraits of residents, documenting the current situation in a country that within a few years has been struck by both hurricane Katrina and the oil spill of BP’s Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico.
The main exhibition takes place in Berlin at Uncommon Place. There will be a special two week period with additional material and a slide show at Galerie erstererster.
If you are in the area- there will be Southern cocktails, music and passing a good time.
