Made to Melt: For Cord Bueker, Jnr, the ideal mix operates like dreaming: distinctions in time, geography, language and style melt, the disparate elements blend into a cohesive (if not coherent) narrative. Scenes shift imperceptibly or shatter suddenly, unlikely juxtapositions and strange appearances seem rational and inevitable, and where you end up has nothing to do with where you started, but seems like the right place.
Lafayette Native and ex-New Orleanian, Cord Bueker, Jnr. is a dear friend and early collaborator with the first issue of Constance. This month he brings us artwork and a mix from the Pacific Northwest.
