Diplomat is a gallery in Philadelphia showcasing the work of international artists working in the medium of photography. Each month the gallery exhibits either a solo or group exhibition featuring artist(s) from one specific country.  

A pamphlet is produced in conjunction with each exhibition that contains a dialogue between the artist(s) and the director of the gallery, or if you will the Diplomat (photographer & curator Chad Muthard).  

This month: To the Ukraine!

The Second Annual Philadelphia Photo Book Center Book Fair is on Saturday, April 2nd, 12-6pm. A number of presses, publishers and artists will be in attendance selling books, prints and other ephemera including some of my favorites: J&L books, Lay Flat, Humble Arts Foundation, Hamburger Eyes, Chad Muthard, and Bryan Graf, among other great people.
