Catalogue had the opportunity to provide a special edition listing for St. Claude Satellite spaces during the opening night of Prospect.2. The printed Catalogues will be available on the buses and along the route.
It is a free, multi-venue art event on Oct. 22 from 6 p.m. – 12 a.m. to correspond with the opening weekend of Prospect.2, the international art biennial in New Orleans.
St. Claude Satellites will involve live music, performances, and gallery exhibitions that showcase a multitude of local artists to visitors from around the world. A free shuttle will transport arts patrons from the primary Prospect.2 gallery and hotel cluster in the Central Business District to the St. Claude Corridor for the duration of the Satellites event. Food trucks parked along St. Claude Avenue will provide food and bars and restaurants in the area will welcome Satellites patrons.

Huge thanks to everyone who has contributed to Catalogue, getting us off the ground and into print, and ultimately into your hands in hopes you discover something new in our city. August 31st marks the day of the end of our Kickstarter fundraising.
The Sept/Oct Edition of Catalogue is on a truck on its way to New Orleans.

Catalogue is on its way to New Orleans soon. We should be receiving it in a few days. We will be blanketing the city, or as much as we can with the initial print of 3000. If you aren’t familiar with this, Catalogue is a free city map of New Orleans that plots art galleries and institutions with an accompanying cohesive bi-monthly gallery guide listing.
The purpose of Catalogue is to unify galleries and institutions spread throughout the city, helping locals and visitors alike to venture out with something portable and informative about openings around town. To date, there has not been anything like this- and with so much energy in the arts, Prospect.2 and the ever-growing number of galleries, it stands to reason our city can support such a program.

Again- the tremendous support that has poured in financially from sponsors, through wonderful emails from Kickstarter supporters and the encouragement from our friends and the community has definitely put us over the top.
Catalogue was sent to print yesterday to our friends in Manitoba- and we hope to have them back very soon. We will be sharing the guides generously at the Third Annual Culture Collision at the New Orleans Museum of Art on Sep. 7th, as well as distributing them around town to all galleries and institutions. We are looking for a few good ladies and gentlemen to help us with this endeavor in hitting over 80 spots in the city of New Orleans.
