Hunter King does a 2 hour show of instrumental surf & rock & roll called Storm Surge of Reverb on WTUL Mondays 4-6PM. He also organizes the semi-quarterly Record Raids in New Orleans.
Moon Trip is a mostly vinyl mix of weird, wonderful and wild sounds. Some of them are favorites from the surf show, some of them proudly sporting yowling vocals never featured on that show. It’s not all too spacey, and definitely has a few tempo swings. Never know what to expect on a Moon Trip.

Carl Hugmeyer is a New Orleans resident, born and raised in Michigan. The region played a role in the development of his musical tastes, where Styx, The Stooges, and Wolf Eyes all had their place.
This month he presents a mix of predominantly “pop/rock” or “guitar music” that would strangely seem at home in the racks or conversations of a midwestern record store.

Our friends in Berlin started a new online publication, called RADIUS., a magazine for new impulses in art, fashion, design and music.
Being Berlin-based retains a sense of excitement and frustration at the same time; being a construct of never ending hype, creative freedom and openness yet being unfinished, unprofessional and in some way provincial.
